подскажите, плиз, как избавиться от WMP11

как избавиться от этого счастья WMP 11 , просто на одном компе работает нормально, а на этом глючит. Не показывает все файлы mpg из сети, некоторые идут (меньшая часть), а при других виснет и избавиться от него можно только через менеджер. Попытки удалить его по совету майкрософта не помогают, он удалить не дает(дает только rolled back), а после этого висит всё тот-же 11-й. Как можно вообще снести этот wmp? я бы с нуля поставил какой-нибудь старой версии. WinXPPro лицензионный. Не надо гнаться за новинками(особенно Вета)

А установить 10-й поверх не пробовал?

1. Попробуй сделать откат системы
2. В каталоге к который утановлена ваша система должна быть скрытая папка типа - ...$NtUninstallwmp11$... вот попробуйте запустить spuninst.exe.

я хотел его снести Your Uninstaller! 2006, но он его не видит,
потом попробовал уже через Reg Organizer, вроде снёс им, им же реестр почистил, но он даже после этого ничего не дает поставить не 10-ку, ни 11-ку, сделал восстановление системы древним числом, но всеравно встала кривая 11-ка Уже просто хочу отвязаться от этого продукта MS, но хотелось бы чтобы без остатков. Помоему это одна из причин была (WMP), почему на старика Билли в суд подавали

удалил 11-ку через spuninst.exe, но 10-ку он мне теперь всеравно не дает поставить- пишет не удается завершить установку без указания ошибки, так уже было делал восстановление потом и получил туже кривую 11-ку. Может кто знает, что всетаки можно сделать?

Ставить 11 удалять ч/з ADD/REMOVE PROGRAM Ставить 10.
Можно перед тем как поставить 10 попробовать почистить реестр супер клинером (есть на форуме). А вообще, по опыту с NERO знаю, поставил более позднюю версию, можно вернутся к более старой только ADD/REMOVE PROGRAM и то не всегда.
Иногда помогает CD с этой программой.

You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group to perform the following procedure.

1. Disconnect any portable music or video devices that might be attached to your computer.
2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
3. In the Category View of Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs, and then click Remove a program.
4. Click Windows Media Player 11, and then click Remove.
If Windows Media Player 11 is not displayed in the list of currently installed programs, then try the following:
-- 1. At the top of the list, select the Show updates check box.
-- 2. In the Windows XP - Software Updates section, click Windows Media Player 11, and then click Change/Remove.
5. In each of the two confirmation dialog boxes that appear, click OK.
6. When the rollback process is complete (it might take several minutes), click Restart.
7. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
8. In the Category View of Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs, and then click Remove a program.
9. Click Windows Media Format 11 Runtime, and then click Remove.
If Windows Media Format 11 Runtime is not displayed in the list of currently installed programs, then try the following:
-- 1. At the top of the list, select the Show updates check box.
-- 2. In the Windows XP - Software Updates section, click Windows Media Format 11 Runtime, and then click Change/Remove.

15. Click Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0.0, and then click Remove.
16. Follow the instructions that appear in the Software Update Removal Wizard.
If the Wudf01000 confirmation dialog box appears, click Yes to continue. When the software removal process is complete (it might take several minutes to complete), click Finish.
