After Yes broke up, Steve Howe and Geoff Downes (Yes), along with John Wetton (King Crimson) and Carl Palmer ( Emerson, Lake & Palmer) formed the 'supergroup' Asia. Howe remained with the band through their first two albums, Asia and Alpha, His next band was GTR, formed in 1986. This group features both Howe and Steve Hackett (formerly of Genesis). The group did not stay together long, as Steve Howe has since back into the Yes camp.
Spectrum was released on June 28 2005 and in this release, Steve Howe was supported by 2 of his sons plus Oliver Wakeman (son of former Yes- member Rick Wakeman) and Tony Levin (of King Crimson).
