Hiroki Okano (Composer, producer, bouzouki, percussion, voice, etc.)
One of the front runner in New Age, Ambient, ethnic music scene in Japan.Started his career in a music production office during his school days and produced many albums, advertisement and programs on TV. From IC DIGIT, Germany, he released 6 solo albums; "1987 1990", "ENN", "Music of Wind", "Rainbow over the gipsyhill", "Heaven in the Koo" and "LEELA". Highly evaluated in outside Japan as Keyboard Magazine of Germany praised him: After Kitaro and Ryuichi Sakamoto, he should be the most notable musician of this century with his impressive purity and cleanliness. In '91, he founded a global music group "Wind Travelin' Band" and provided a lot of performances including some in Europe and USA. Using over one thousand of original wind-bells, he created sound installation to show the natural surroundings. Landscape Channel, England and ABC, USA introduced this project. He also founded Tenkoo Orchestra and performed at "the world jazz stage" of the world largest art festival, Glastonbury Festival. In Japan, he attracted the eyes by the co-performance with Haruomi Hosono and appearance at Rainbow 2000. He established a "Global Tribe" Label and directed the music in International Dolphin and Whale Conference and Pacific-Japan Underwater Film Festival in Yokohama.

Мартин Тиллман родился в Цюрихе, с 1988 года живет в США, где закончил Калифорнийский Университет. Всегда стремился расширить границы звучания такого «классического» инструмента, как виолончель, выступал с Better Than Ezra, Chicago, Трэйси Чэпмэн и Беком. Входил в ансамбли Triptych и Axiom of Choice. С середины 90х годов начал выпускать сольные пластинки, первой из которых стала «Lingo», спродюсированная Томом Ведвиком, с ним же впоследствии были сработаны «Cinematic Volunteer» (2001) и «Eastern Twin»(2000), ставший дебютом Тиллмана на крупном лэйбле Rounder Records. Альбом записывался в содружестве с Луисом Конте (перкуссия), Грегом Аррекином (гитара) и Лисбет Скот (вокал). На счету Тиллмана два диска и с Михаэлем Хоппе - «The Poet» (1997) и «Afterglow» (1999, третий участник - флейтист Тим Уитер). В его официальную дискографию включены так же саундтреки к следующим фильмам: «Everlasting piece»(2000), «Mission Impossible 2», «Ali»(2001), «The Pledge» (2001), «Hannibal»(2001) «Dlack Hawk Dawn» (2002). А также «Пираты Карибского моря», «Звонок», «Звонок-2», «Слёзы под Солнцем» и др.

"Eastern Twin" ("Восточный Двойник") — очень красивый альбом американского композитора, виолончелиста и клавишника Мартина Тиллмана (Martin Tillman). Альбом был записан в соавторстве с известным музыкантом и продюсером Томом Ведвиком (Tom Vedvik), который издает свою музыку на Cyber Octave, саблейбле Higher Octave Music. Как следствие, музыка этого небольшого по нынешним временам альбома (45 минут) имеет нечто общее с музыкой таких небезызвестных групп, как "Brain-scapes" и "Sorma" — это особая изящная мягкость и мелодичность world-музыки с ее изысканными ритмами и экзотическими напевами, усиленная великолепными партиями виолончели, придающими легкую грусть и немного суровую таинственность некоторым композициям альбома. Вообще, на этом альбоме нижнему регистру уделено особое внимание — мощный и глубокий вибрирующий бас прекрасно прописан — это настоящее испытание для Вашей акустической системы. Музыка альбома несет легкие отпечатки многих стилей и направлений современной музыки — от джаза и босса-новы до трип-хопа, так что даже если Вы и не любитель world-музыки, скучать Вам не придется.

Хотя он вполне доступен, по отдельной просьбе залил в нормальном качестве. Просьбу понимаю, так как прежде чем купить диск, тоже сливал и ужасался качеству (где-нибудь наверняка нормальный лежал, но теперь точно будет известно где :)).
Об альбоме сказать нечего, кроме того, что это Karunesh. Мне нравится так же, как Secrets of Life или Colors Of Light.

Bassic is the moniker of Martin Lindhe, an electronica artist. He is best known for his route of publication - mainly online through MP3.com.

He is the great grandchild of the Swedish composer Wilhelm Stenhammar. He originally uploaded his tracks to MP3.com in the 1990's as a storage solution while moving from Sweden to the USA. Soon after, he was noticed by electronica lovers and gained a large following on MP3.com. By the time the service had been taken over by the major record labels, his tracks had been downloaded over 7 million times, making him the most popular artist on mp3.com for long periods of time.
